Information and guidelines for authors
Accepted contributions are summarized to a book of abstracts provided with an ISBN, which all symposium participants receive included in the symposium papers. Authors, whos contribution has been accepted will be asked to submit an extended abstracts till June 30th, 2015, which will be offered in electronic format on a USB-stick.
Excellent contributions will be awarded by the scientific committee under various categories such as technical contribution, oral presentation and poster presentation during symposium dinner (galla dinner) on September 9th, 2015.
Abstract
For abstract submission please use following Microsoft-Word template (click on template for download)!
The submitted abstract should provide an overview of the work going to be presented on the symposium of max. 400 words on approximately one DIN A4 page. The author can propose its preferred type of contribution either oral presentation or poster presentation at the beginning of the template. The final decision about the acceptance and type of contribution is subjected to the scientific committee when revising the abstracts.
Extended abstract(for invited or accepted contributions)

The submitted extended abstract should provide a proper summary of the work going to be presented on the symposium on max. 6 DIN A4 pages.
Oral presentation (for invited or accepted contributions)
For oral presentation at the symposium, please provide a max. 15 min talk supported by a Microsoft Power Point presentation (file format .pptx or .ppt). For administrative reasons the presentation should be submitted as early as possible to isfr2015@unileoben.ac.at or bring it with you to the speaker's room. Persons who did not submit their presentation in advance are asked to hand over their presentations to the symposium staff at least one session before their own one to check if it is working.
Poster and poster presentation (for invited or accepted contributions)
The recommended poster size is A0.
Apart from poster exhibition, all poster contributions will be presented by a flash presentation in the speaker's room. Please provide a max. 2 min talk supported by max. 3 Microsoft Power Point slides (file format .pptx or .ppt). For administrative reasons the poster flash presentation should be submitted as early as possible to isfr2015@unileoben.ac.at or bring it with you to the speaker's room. Persons who did not submit their presentation in advance are asked to hand over their presentations to the symposium staff at least one session before their own one to check if it is working.
